Cayman Drama Society is thrilled to present this work by Derek Walcott, a Caribbean poet, author, and playwright.  Garnering countless literary honours, including a Nobel Prize in Literature, Mr. Walcott’s writing celebrates the unique historical and cultural fabric of the Caribbean.

The construction of a new highway through the small town of Couva, in Trinidad and Tobago, pits local roti shop owner, Otto, against the forces of industrialization, modernization, and corruption. Comedy, cultural commentary, satire and even a Mysterious Stranger, all with Caribbean heart and soul.
