The Derek Larner Memorial Run is happening on the 12th of January 2025. This event is a celebration of the life and legacy of Derek Larner, a beloved local athlete and community member who inspired so many through his passion for running and his dedication to others.
The run will honour Derek’s memory while raising funds for two vital local charities: Jasmine Palliative & Hospice Care and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
The event offers a variety of race categories—5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Half Marathon Relay—ensuring there’s something for everyone in the community. It’s an excellent opportunity to promote fitness, give back, and raise awareness for these essential causes.
