However the Island truly has something for everyone and our five-star event venues don’t start and stop with Seven Mile Beach. Head to West Bay, a district popular amongst tourists, and you will find the Cayman Turtle Centre offering ample space for celebrations surrounded by cascading waterfalls, a predator lagoon, turtle tanks and even an aviary!

Head East and you’ll find Pedro’s Castle – a stately and historic Cayman-style mansion set in lush grounds atop one of the few cliffs on Island. Farther East still, you’ll find the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, which is a beautiful outdoor garden and wildlife facility featuring a floral festooned gazebo that has been the magical setting for countless ‘I do’s over the years.

Weddings

The Cayman Islands is one of the most romantic places in the world to get married and it’s not hard to see why, with its pristine beaches, turquoise sparkling waters and gorgeous Caribbean weather (and you already have the perfect backdrop for a dreamy honeymoon!). Considering honeymooning in Grand Cayman? Brides Magazine chose Cayman as the 15th best honeymoon destination worldwide and Seven Mile Beach was praised as one of the top 25 in the world. This year, TripAdvisor members awarded the Cayman Islands number one destination in the Caribbean and Mexico.

Catering

The standard of catering in the Cayman Islands speaks to its reputation as the culinary capital of the Caribbean. With restaurants cooking up such a diverse mix of cuisines – there’s catering suited for all party types (and tastes!). If you're planning on hosting your event at a restaurant or bar, inquire about their in-house catering options.

Camana Bay is a popular event spot and it is not unusual for restaurants on the Paseo to host private functions! Many of the Island’s hotels and resorts provide in-house catering for events and functions held on the premises. Caribbean Club, The Ritz-Carlton, the Kimpton Seafire, The Westin and the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort all have on-site caterers and restaurants which can be booked for private functions. Menus can be customised per tastes and dietary requirements from your starter through to dessert!

For off-premise catering, Mise en Place is the Island’s premier catering company. With over ten years’ of experience in Cayman’s food and entertainment scene, they endeavour to provide clients with the highest quality food, service and coordination.

Photographers

Whatever the special occasion, you’ll want lasting memories to look back on and that’s why choosing the right photographer is so important! We’re lucky to have a wealth of talented photographers available to us in Cayman.

Some photographers specialise in a formal portraiture style, while others will shoot in a more candid photojournalistic style. While photographers may be visual artists, the most successful collaborations between party host and photographer actually depend immensely on verbal understanding.
