Although the most popular places for weddings in Grand Cayman are the stunning beaches, there are plenty of other options to choose from including beautiful churches, historical locations, lush tropical gardens, five-star resorts and even under water! And of course, this being the Cayman Islands, there are a host of churches for traditional religious ceremonies.

Churches in Cayman

There are over 200 churches currently in Cayman with almost every denomination and faith-based community represented and most offer weddings services.

Caribbean Club can host your small private barefoot ceremony to a large elegant beach wedding celebration for up to 150 guests.

The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park has hosted many weddings over the years. With lush alcoves and manicured lawns that can accommodate up to 50 people, the Botanic Park will provide the perfect setting to make your wedding or reception unique and unforgettable.

Pedro St. James was built in 1780 and is a stunning location for an elegant wedding. Spanning seven acres of landscaped tropical gardens and with stunning panoramic ocean views, it is a picture-perfect wedding venue. The three-storey Great House, known as ‘Pedro’s Castle’ is an 18th century plantation-style house that provides the perfect backdrop for picturesque wedding photographs. The property can accommodate a variety of wedding celebrations, from intimate gatherings to large groups of 800 or more guests.

The National Gallery offers beautifully landscaped gardens and a large space perfect for a wedding. The pavilion and tree lined avenue offers fantastic infrastructure for lighting, entertainment and catering.

A unique wedding venue that will make for an extra memorable day. Couples can choose from many staging areas: the air-conditioned lobby, The Green’s Turtle Breeding Bay, beach, poolside, lagoon island or Cayman Street. More adventurous couples may choose the Predator Reef viewing window, where sharks may be the witnesses to the ceremony.

The 234 ft ocean front destination offers a picturesque location which is ideal for a memorable occasion with space for up to 300 guests. For the ceremony, there is a third-acre private wedding space and for the reception, the couple can choose from a casual, yet chic beachside barbeque or an elegant dinner on the sea-view verandah of the “Upstairs at Kaibo” restaurant.

The Mastic Chapel Cottages located in North Side, provides the perfect setting for a beautiful Cayman wedding. Each Mastic Cottage is surrounded by 11 acres of nature and lush landscaping, making it an ideal place for a private wedding.

The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman specialises in high-end wedding celebrations. Exchange your vows in the serene surroundings on the Great Lawn or in the magical setting of Seven Mile Beach. You then have the choice of five different venues on-site for the reception, with the ballroom being able to host up to 500 guests.

The Westin offers beach front, toes in your sand weddings on Seven Mile Beach, on the landscaped lawn or in their ballroom for up to 40 guests.
