The theme for the 2023 National Heroes Day celebration is “Volunteerism and Charitable Services”. Persons and organizations that have given their time, skills and other resources will be publicly recognised for their impact on Caymanian society.

Road Closures
In order to facilitate the National Heroes Day Celebrations which are taking place on Monday, 23 January, the following road closures will be in place from Friday, 20 January at 6:00PM to Monday, 23 January, at 3:00PM. The roads will be temporarily reopened from 12:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturday, 21 January.
1. Fort Street will be closed between Seafarers Way and Edward Street.
2. Edward Street will be closed at the junctions of Main Street and Cardinall Avenue.
3. Edward Street will be temporarily closed at the junction of Dr. Roy’s Drive.
4. Albert Panton Street will be closed at the junction of Cardinall Avenue.
Local access will be permitted for those establishments open during these times.
