The capital of Grand Cayman, George Town, is the buzzing centre of Cayman's duty-free shopping experience.

As a reminder, George Town is quietest on non-cruise ship days, and all downtown shops are closed on Sundays.

There are many talented artists across Grand Cayman. Many sell their wares in George Town, either in their own stores or at the local outlets. You'll find local art scattered around George Town, all of it conveniently located near the port.
Artifacts Ltd. stocks a host of antique jewellery, maps, prints, china, shipwreck treasures and more. It's the perfect place to pick up a one-of-a-kind gift. Their team often showcases unique pieces on their social media.
Cathy Church's Photo Centre is home to Cathy's famous collection of underwater photography. Photographs are available to purchase in a variety of sizes, with custom framing available.
Cayman Islands National Museum Shop offers a wide selection of locally made products that make the perfect gift or souvenir. They are the official distributor for the Cayman Islands flag and Coat of Arms plaques.
Guy Harvey Gallery & Shoppe sells marine-themed original works of art, prints, clothing and gifts. You may even run into Guy Harvey himself! What's more, a portion of the proceeds from all sales are donated to marine conservation!
Ngara Galleries is a sculpture gallery dedicated to celebrating the artistry of Zimbabwean sculptors. Renowned for its exceptional collection, the gallery offers unique pieces rarely available elsewhere and ensures that artists are compensated fairly at their full asking price.
Pure Art is located one mile south of George Town in an old Caymanian cottage. It is a treasure trove full of original paintings and prints by local artists, plus handmade jewellery, bags, ceramics, cushions and more.
The Craft Market
The Craft Market, located just past the Fort George Ruins and opposite the waterfront, is a great place to watch local artisans at work and to pick up a unique gift or collector’s item. Browse handmade products like decorated conch, Caymanite and silver thatch palm hats and bags. Also find delicious local jellies, pickles and snacks. The market is open on days when cruise ships are in port.

There are a handful of stores in George Town dedicated to cosmetics, skincare and fragrance. They all sell high-end brands at affordable prices.
Cardinall Avenue has many beauty stores, including Kirk Freeport’s La Parfumerie which sells brands like Chanel, Clarins, Dior, Guerlain, Lancôme, L'Oréal and Sisley. You will also find a MAC makeup store and a Victoria's Secret.
You can also find Le Visage in Camana Bay, along Seven Mile Beach.

Clothing
Most clothing in George Town is sold in the souvenir shops across from the port. You can find rash guards, sweatshirts and tshirts in most of these stores. For the majority of Cayman's clothing stores, explore Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach.
