Taking a driving tour is a great way to see the Island. Here, we provide some driving tour recommendations, along with a couple of walking tours.
At just 22 miles long, Grand Cayman might surprise you with how much there is to do and see! There are a number of walking and driving tours offered across the island which help you get the most out of your visit. Whether it's a trip to Hell or a day spent exploring the rugged Mastic Trail, Explore Cayman has all bases covered.

George Town Walking Tour
Learn about the capital city, George Town, of Grand Cayman and the history of the Cayman Islands on a self-guided walking tour.
Visit the Cayman Islands National Museum, see Heroes Square, Fort George, the Parliament Building, Seamen's Memorial, a WW2 US Navy Base and the beautiful Elmslie Church.
There are also numerous local arts and souvenir shops along the way to pick up your Cayman Islands momento.
Driving Tours
Why not rent a car and go exploring? We have compiled two driving tours: one to the east of Grand Cayman (North Side and East End) and the other to West Bay.
Along the route you will find lovely beaches to stop at and have a swim, great restaurants for a bite to eat, and interesting national sites to explore. Have fun!
The Hide & Seek GeoTour and Treasure Hunt enables visitors and new residents to truly experience all three islands in this immersive exploration. On this treasure hunt you will discover natural caves, interact with a Blue Iguana, find some off-the-beaten-path nature trails and learn about the history and culture of our three island gems – Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

Mastic Trail
The Mastic Reserve on Grand Cayman protects part of the largest contiguous area of untouched, old growth, dry forest remaining on the island.
This area and other similar expanses of forest in Cayman are of international significance, representing some of the last remaining examples of the Caribbean's dry, subtropical, semi deciduous dry forest, which have been the target of particularly intense deforestation throughout the West Indies.
