Little Cayman Museum

The Little Cayman Museum emerged from Linton and Polly Tibbetts' personal collection, spearheaded by Mr. T's dedication to preserving the Sister Islands' cultural heritage. After establishing the Cayman Brac Museum in 1983, the Little Cayman Museum opened in 1997, showcasing items from the Island and beyond. The Maritime Museum followed in 2009. Despite Mr. T's passing in 2011, the Tibbetts family continued his vision, breaking ground for a new building in 2013.

Little Cayman visitor

I have been coming to Little Cayman a long time and this was my first visit to the museum. There was so much I didn't know, and I feel even more connected to the Island now I understand where it came from.
