DSD Courses, Snorkelling, Shore & Boat Dives

Sunset House offers plenty of snorkelling, boat and shore dive options. In fact, the resort is consistently rated as offering one of the best shore dives in the world.

In about eight minutes you can swim to the Nicholson, a World War II landing craft or there’s Amphitrite, a nine-foot tall, 600lb bronze mermaid statue that stands 50ft below the surface. Alternatively hop on one of their dive boats to see Cayman's dramatic walls, Stingray City, the Kittiwake and more.

Discover Scuba Courses (DSD)
The DSD course is a quick and easy introduction to diving and allows you to explore the underwater world before committing to the SCUBA certification course. This program begins in the resort pool first, followed by a shallow guided dive on the beautiful house reef with your highly trained instructor.

Dive Trips
With an abundance of experience, Sunset Divers highly professional instructors offer daily morning two tank dive trips from our custom built dive boats. A choice of dive sites are accessible by boat minutes from the resort. Morning trips start with an amazing wall dive followed by a beautiful shallow reef. Their boat trips have all the amenities you would expect - towels, fruit, water and camera rinse tank and lots of personal and professional service. The boat will be crewed by two or three experienced instructors.

They also offer one tank afternoon trips to the Wreck of the Kittiwake or Stingray City. Afternoon lion fish culling or a reef dive trips can also be arranged.
