Nightlife in Grand Cayman

When you're done with the the sun and surf, nothing is more perfect than winding down the day with a cocktail at the bar and dancing into the late hours.

Cayman has a very active nightlife in all of its districts. You'll fine upscale cocktail bars, places to hang out with friends and other spots to dance the night away. With the island being a very sociable place, you're sure to meet new friends wherever you spend your evenings.

Where to Go at Night

Choose between hotel bars, local nightclubs and cosmopolitan cocktails bars across the island. The majority of bars sell international beers and wines and most create the most scrumptious Caribbean cocktails.

Local hotspots showcase Caymanian culture through performances and live bands. From upscale lounges to laidback beach bars, Grand Cayman caters to every taste, making nights memorable with a perfect blend of island vibes and cosmopolitan flair.

A favourite hotel bar is Anchor & Den at The Marriott. Their range of classic, as well as Caribbean-inspired, cocktails are a great way to start the weekend. They also host theme nights with live music, such as their Rockin Ramen night on Fridays.

Tukka East is well worth the journey for an evening cocktail. They also host full moon rising events where you can witness the beauty of Earth's full moon multiple times a month!

Macabuca never fails to stun all who visit. The rugged ironshore hugs the coastline and makes for a wonderful picture. At night, their lights twinkle like stars and any visitor to the island should not forego this one.

Kaibo is located in North Side, a much more quiet evening scene. However, they bring the party during their Beach BBQs on Tuesday and Luna del Mar events on selected Fridays.

Next Door in Camana Bay is a popular evening spot due to their roster of live music and entertainment. Once a month, there is cabaret, and most nights of the week they host a live musician.

Le Petit Bar is new on the bar scene, but should be included on your itinerary. Their huge list of wines, and experts on the subject, make for a wonderful place to gather with friends and family.

Located in The Grove, Door No. 4 is one of the newer cocktails bars in Cayman but it has quickly becomes one of the favourites. Get your all-time favourite drink, or ask their friendly and skilled mixologists to whip up something new based on your preferred tastes!
