USS Kittiwake
The Ex-USS Kittiwake, a former submarine rescue vessel that served in the US Navy from 1945 to 1994, now sits at a depth of 62ft in clear Caribbean waters. It played a key role in various operations post World War II. Divers can explore its five decks, including crew quarters, recompression chamber, and ammunition lockers. Snorkelers can enjoy views of the stack just 30ft below the surface. Access to the site requires a $25 marine park fee which is paid through a licensed dive/snorkel operator, the only means to visit the site. Swimming from shore is not permitted.
