Best Hotels on Seven Mile Beach to Host a Beach Wedding

Over 700 marriages are performed each year in the Cayman Islands which includes both Caymanians and visitors from other countries. A few local hotels do a wonderful job helping the happy couple plan, organise and execute all the intricate details to make their wedding in Cayman very special. We recommend the following hotels which are on Seven Mile Beach.

Famed for its beautiful beach, stunning apartments with large balconies overlooking the sea and a superb restaurant (LUCA) on site, this is a really ideal location to host a beach wedding. The Caribbean Club team, with the LUCA team, can help organise all the Cayman-based details, making your reparations and planning must easier.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is a stunning location to host a wedding! Not only does it have a beautiful stretch of beach, but it has a team of staff to help set up, cater the wedding breakfast, and arrange everything from flowers, to food, music to the minister. You could have the wedding itself on the beach, and then the reception in their ballroom, or they will set up tables on the beach, in a cordoned off area for privacy, and you will have the stunning backdrop of the sun setting as you step into your new adventure as husband and wife!

The Westin sits on a beautiful stretch of Seven Mile Beach. They will cordon off an area of the beach for your wedding ceremony and help you organise everything from the flowers, music, food, tables and chairs and decorating.

The Kimpton Seafire, can be found at the top end of Seven Mile Beach. The resort has a beautiful beach plus a banquet room that can host a large wedding. Again they have staff on hand to help organise all the details from the wedding ceremony on the beach to a delicious wedding breakfast back in the hotel afterwards.

Other Beach Locations for a Wedding

Other locations that have a beach and where you can get married include the island at Camana Bay which is a palm tree lined oasis, and then you can have the wedding reception at a restaurant in Camana Bay. Another good option is Kaibo Beach Bar & Gill in Cayman Kai which has a lovely beach and is a great location to host a private and rustic beach wedding. Alternatively, you can rent a beach villa from Cayman Villas and host the wedding and reception there. See their listings below.

Camana Bay has a beautiful palm lined island where many get married. Then there are numerous restaurants where you can host the wedding breakfast.

With a pristine private white beaches, turquoise waters and a talented team to help make your wedding day perfect, Kaibo is a wonderfully romantic and secluded place to get married. For the ceremony, there is a third-acre private wedding beach with a palm tree-lined aisle, leading towards the wedding arch at the water’s edge. For the reception, the couple can choose a setting and location that matches their personality, from a casual, yet chic beachside barbeque to the beat of steel drums, to an elegant dinner on the sea-view verandah of the grand “Upstairs at Kaibo” restaurant.

A great option is to rent a condo or villa on the beach and host your wedding on the beach in front of the property. Cayman Villas has 70+ amazing condos dotted around Grand Cayman and they can let you know which ones will happily allow you to host your wedding on the property.

Alternative Wedding Locations

If a beach wedding is not your thing then there are plenty of other options to consider.

Planning Note

If you are interested in a fireworks, light or laser display at your event then there is a legal requirement under the Air Navigation (Overseas Territories) Order 2007 to coordinate proposed events with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI) in order to prevent potential threats to aircraft operations. Any such inquiries should be directed to civil.aviation@caacayman.com or contact (345) 949 7811.
